Buttery Syrup
1 cup butter
1 cup light whipping cream
2 cups sugar
Melt together in a saucepan 10-12 minutes, or until the sugar is dissolved. Do not boil.
Add:
1 tsp. vanilla
dash nutmeg
Serve warm or at room temperature.
We had it on pancakes. Very tasty!
